PDO in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, launched the “PDO Renewable Energy Award” in its sixth session, entitled “Net Zero,” targeting students from grad 9-12 to search for ideas in Sustainability nature sources in innovative scientific ways, with support from their supervisors. The Award program for this session includes providing promotional programs to school students and their supervisors, represented by publishing awareness clips and posters explaining the registration method. The timetable for the registration period, which extends for five months, will also include training programs for the students targeted for the award through specialized research, so that it contributes to providing ideas for students to come up with new projects that have the ability to compete and even manufacture. The program also includes providing sponsorship for the winning student projects after the evaluation phase including courses and development programs for the winning projects with competent authorities inside and outside the Sultanate.
