"We encourage all government and private institutions to adopt initiatives and projects that serve the national trend towards reducing emissions; in line with Oman's Vision 2040 and Oman's commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and achieving zero carbon neutrality by 2050; in various sectors and fields, including: electricity, energy, environment, waste and water treatment, as well as the transport, communications and information technology sector; in which we seek to adopt and support a number of digital projects and technologies such as electric vehicles for which we have provided about 100 an electric charger distributed in most governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
We also invite those interested to participate in the "Future Mobility" Initiative, which will be held within the activities of Oman Sustainability Week to support the goals of environmental mobility in the Sultanate of Oman, as the initiative will represent an effective platform for pioneers in the transport industry to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the field of environmental mobility, which will enhance the Sultanate of Oman's endeavor to create a zero-carbon economy.”
